In accordance with Executive Order D 2020-138 our new Mask Policy will be:
Masks must be worn when entering and while moving around the church, but not necessary when seated in your pew. However, masks are not required for kids 10 years old and younger; or people who cannot medically tolerate a mask.
I’d like to stay as close to the letter of this law as possible and not try to be more or less conservative, because that is how we started causing offense previously. There is no religious exception, but the focus is on the entering our building and moving around the building. There is no requirement outside the building and there is no requirement for when people are seated. For your curiosity, the actual quotes from the executive order relevant to us are referenced at the end of this email.
God’s Blessings,
Luke Scheele, Pastor
