Trinity,

This past year has been full of unique challenges and through each of them, we have learned more and more about how to handle the current pandemic environment. Along with that came changes in technology and our ability to leverage different skill sets. After spending the last 8 weeks doing virtual worship services we are ready to move back to in-person worship services. That being said, at the same time we will continue to offer virtual worship via teleconference (9 am), YouTube (6 pm), and TV Broadcast (6 pm) each Sunday.

We demonstrated our ability to do this very thing for Brooke’s Baptism on Dec 20th, for Christmas Eve, and for the New Officer Installation this past Sunday. With the unknown length of this pandemic, I would like to simply leave the opportunities open for in-person and online worship and allow the individual families of our congregation to choose the method that is best for them and that they are the most comfortable with. You are all responsible adults and I trust you to do what is best for your context and your situation. If you are in a high-risk category for COVID, then I praise God that you can join us in a virtual worship service from your home. If you are not concerned about the potential risk, then I praise God that you can join us in-person. Either way, we will make a joyful noise to the Lord and rejoice in His many blessings and his gracious forgiveness.

"But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation say continually, 'Great is the LORD!’ " (Psalm 40:16).

In Summary, starting this Sunday (Jan 17th)…

God’s Blessings,

Luke Scheele, Pastor
Trinity Lutheran Church

P.S. In-person fellowship will continue to be suspended as well as in-person Adult Bible Study but as we move forward week-to-week that could change as well, we will simply do the best we can with the situation God has given us.
